Beginning Antenatal Classes

Last night was our first night of antenatal classes which will run for the next five weeks.
It was great to get a tour of River Ridge which is hopefully where we will head too after you are born for a couple of days before coming home.

But this tour also made things very real for me. You have been growing inside me and I have been feeling you kick around but last night reality hit that you were going to have to leave this nice nest to find a new nest in our arms in just 15 or so weeks.

We are looking forward to next Tuesday's class getting to know some of the other mum's and dad's and learning more about how to get ready for your arrival.

At 26 Weeks Old

Overseas and out of town friends have been asking how you are growing so today Daddy took some photos of you as a little bump (now 26 weeks old) to share with those who haven't been able to watch you grow each week. At 20 weeks you were still fairly incognito but since then you have definitely started to make your appearance. Grandma and Poppa felt you kick yesterday bringing a smile to their faces and taking them back to when it was me inside Grandma's tummy. Despite Daddy and I being able to feel you for awhile now it is still really exciting to feel you moving around in there.

We also meet with a photographer today who is going to take some photos of you as a bump in a months time and then again hopefully once you make your arrival so we are getting excited about capturing those moments.
