34-35 Weeks Old Trip Down South

So at 34 weeks we made the trip down to the South Island for Aunty Courtney and Uncle Blake's wedding. They were super excited to see you again for Aunty Courtney it hadn't been long but for Uncle Blake apart from seeing you grow on Skype he hadn't seen your bump since Christmas and you had grown quite a lot. We had a great time catching up with them at home before the wedding and you were moving around lots. Aunty Courtney was amazed at how much she could see you wriggle!
Then we headed to Arrowtown and their wedding was just a few days away. With amazing scenery we enjoyed some family time while getting flowers, cake, dresses etc ready for the big day. The day finally arrived and it couldn't have been a better day for it! It was a stunning location for a stunning wedding.

Just two days after the wedding at it was time for us to head home. But the weather had other ideas! With snow covering the mountain tops and high winds it meant our flight was delayed until the next day we had to quickly find some accommodation and stay an extra night in Queenstown. Lying in bed that night Daddy had his ear on my tummy and suddenly reached for my pulse. He thought he could hear your little heartbeat through my tummy and when he found my pulse he was certain it was your heartbeat! It was beating faster than mine he could definitely hear you :-). That night I had a dream that you decided to come early and we ended up having you in Queenstown Hospital. I dreamt that you were a boy. So although we made it home without any visits to Queenstown Hospital we are interested to see if the rest of that dream comes true. If you will be a boy or girl when you do arrive.
The next day we made it home and checked in again with Therese she felt around to see how you were lying, with your head down, and we said that Daddy had heard you. Before she put her machine on to listen to you she asked where he heard your heartbeat. Putting her machine exactly where Daddy had heard you; her and I could listen to what Daddy could already hear without the machine. He was right he had heard you and could feel where you were lying too!
