You are continuing to grow up and develop into your own little person. You are now five months old and we are getting out and about lots more. Each Monday we go to swimming and on Monday November 3, you put your head under. All of our showers and baths have paid off and you took to putting your head under like a duck to water. We have also started going to wriggle and rhyme at the Chartwell Library which you are enjoying. For half an hour we sing songs and move about with balls, scarves and bubbles. Each Tuesday we go to SPACE and Tuesday, November 4, you couldn't help but show your rolling skills to everyone. With all of the babies lying on the ground you rolled right into Skyla and I would roll you onto your back then you would roll left over to Frankie and then you would look at Richie and do your superman flying. You have started balancing on your tummy lifting your legs and arms off the ground to look like you are flying each time you are on your tummy. Then at story time, the story was taking too long to get started so you rolled onto your tummy and when I rolled you back you rolled over almost on top of Blake who was lying next to you. We have recently been to Taupo for the long weekend Daddy and Grandma had to go back to work on the Monday afternoon but Poppa, you and I stayed for the rest of the week. Poppa loved spending time with you watching you fly (superman style), and teaching you to blow bubbles. You are now a bubble blowing machine and when we visited the Lava Glass Art you were blowing them almost as if to say you didn't approve of the price tag of the expensive art. You slept in your portacot and slept well at night but weren't so keen to go to sleep in it during the day. The door between the bedroom and the lounge didn't quite close and you would wriggle your way up to the top of the cot and twist your body round so that you could eyeball us through the gap as if to say "I know you are just there, why can't I come and play?"
